When do I need to give a notice of ending my tenancy?

At least one full calendar month before the wanted ending of the tenancy, in writing. For example, if you want to pay your last rent in December, you need to deliver a written notice of ending your tenancy to the Accommodation office at latest on the last day of November. All of the exchange students have already an ending date in their tenancy agreements and if that date is correct, then the tenancy ends automatically on that day. If any changes need to be made, they have to be made at least one calendar month before and in writing.

When do I get my deposit back?

Fill in the "notice of ending the tenancy" -form before leaving, giving accurate banking information. Your deposit will be returned to your home account within two months from your departure.
