Kortepohja Student village is situated in the Kortepohja district, approximately 2,5 kilometres from the city centre. The Seminaarinmäki campus area is a little closer. The green and cosy Kortepohja district can be found in the northwest side of the city centre, between the sports and recreational area of Laajavuori and the parks, beaches and walking tracks of Viitaniemi.

With a bicycle it takes ten minutes to the main campus of Seminaarinmäki. The campuses of Mattilanniemi, Ylistönrinne and Tourula can be reached in fifteen minutes. The bicycle routes in Jyväskylä are taken care of the whole year through and many people use their bicycles also in the winter time.

Local buses no:s 18 and 25 drive from Kortepohja to the city centre - bus no 18 from Taitoniekantie side, bus no 25 from Laajavuorentie side of the Student village.

There is plenty of parking space found for cars in the Student village.
