NEW BUILDING H
The new H-building of the Student Village will be finnished according to schedule during the summer. The buildings has both studio flats and small family apartments. Moreover, the H-building will have also basic two rooms shared apartments as well as personal shared apartments in which both tenants have their own kitchenette and bathroom. Day of completion will be 1.8.2012. The rents of the H-building, the sizes of the apartments and the application rules will be informed about on the website before June.

Studen network QUOTA LIMIT rised to 15 GB / day
The transfer quota has been set remarkably larger than before. 17.4.2012 onwards the daily transfer quota is 15 GB (previously 5 GB / day). The new limit allows all kinds of normal network usage, for example uploading movies from rental services in the Internet. The new daily limit enables the uploading of up to three full-HD movies without affecting the speed of the Internet connection. NEW LOGO of the Kortepohja Student Village
Designing competition for Kortepohja Student Village's new logo is over. A winner is Tatu Hellsten. In addition, Seppo Laine and Ali Moazami-Goodarzi were compensated for a shared 2nd place in the competition. Congratulations! Alongside the winning logo we will use the logos, which won the shared 2nd place, for example in different printed products. The winning logo, which will be the official logo of the Student Village, will be published later in the spring.

STUDENT VILLAGE FURNITURE TO STORAGES
When moving away from the Student Village you must clear your room/flat of any furniture. Borrowed furniture must be taken into the storages downstairs at P and D-buildings. Broken furniture must be taken away or to a dumpster. If furniture has been left behind and the Village must take care of moving it, the tenant who has moved away will be charged. Furniture can stay in the apartment only by a permission granted by the Accommodation office. The office will grant a permission if the next tenant will be an exchange student/summer schooler. Furnitured rooms of exchange students (furniture fee in connection with rent) needn't be emptied of any furniture.

SAUNA TURNS
There are general sauna turns for men and women every day in the Student village. The general sauna turns are free of charge.

STORAGE SPACE                    
Into new G-building has been build eight small storage space which you can rent now when necessary. Size of those storages is 8 square metres and rent is 40€/month + 80€ pledge payment. Pledge will be returned to tenant account after tenant has empty the storage space, return keys back to the accommondation office and if all rents have check to completed. More info and your own storage space you can ask from accommondation office.
